My wife is from Moldova. She now has her Green Card. We are trying to move the children here to the States. I NEED TO SPEAK WITH YOU.
I am Director of the Rotarian Connectivity Network which we set up to do international humanitarian aid shipments and projects of every description. I am quite famniliar with Moldova and it's needs. We have been working with LTC. Craig Mix at the US Embassy and have facilitated numerous shipment through the North Caroliona National Guard which is the "partner state" of Moldova under NGBIA-SPP program. We have a meeting coming up in Waco, TX involving many NGO's to organize aid projects in Moldova....a lot happening. My Skype phone is 317.614.7343.

This is a way for you to be involved in helping if you so desire. We do have Rotary Clubs in Moldova and we will include them in our strategy meetings via eith on-line or phone.

This is an excellent example of how difficult it is to help people here from every possible angle both from the Ukrainian side and the foreign/US side. Helping people is not as simple as filling an Humanitarian container with supplies and sending it off. A lot of ground work needs to be done and relationships need to be built on both sides to truly meet people's needs. Thank you for writing this. Thank you for trying to help. I hope that something positive comes out of this....

Wow !! Nothing is simple and easy. Maybe they should have collected money instead and sent someone over to purcahse what they needed/wanted. People get a warm fuzzy feeling about doing something that they think is great with out looking at it from all angles that the receiver is looking at it. You are right about the used equipment. It would be like sending paper only written on one side to a school or pencils only sharpened twice. Thankyou for doing all you and Igor did to help make happen. You are a Blessing to many !! Good Luck.
